Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be able to: (1) identify the range of potential community stakeholders to involve in the design and implementation of public health initiatives; (2) compare alternative strategies for engaging professional and lay communities in public health initiatives; and (3) describe key methods for evaluating the implementation and impact of community-based public health initiatives.
