Public Health Assessment and Accreditation: Lessons from State Experiences
Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be able to: 1. identify methods for creating a distance learning community and peer network; and 2. articulate several different approaches for implementing assessment and accreditation systems for public health departments; and 3. identify the roles of key partners and stakeholders involved in successful assessment and accreditation programs; and 4. articulate the best practices and lessons learned by the MLC on assessment and accreditation systems that aim to improve the delivery of public health services.
