The American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian (AIANNH) Caucus invites abstracts for papers that address the theme of the 2007 American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting, "Politics, Policy and Public Health" and general topics addressing AIANNH populations. The Caucus also invites papers that specifically address the following:
A discussion session by several (no more than five) speakers on a general topic may be coordinated by a single applicant. Each speaker for the discussion session must submit an abstract on his or her individual topic, following the APHA web site's guidelines. Use the "Comments to Organizer" box to convey your request as well as listing the abstract ID numbers for each speaker. Follow up with an email to the Program Planners with a session overview. Scholarships to stimulate and promote participation in the AIANNH Caucus are available for students, invited speakers, and, among invited AIANNH community members who would otherwise be unable to attend due to budget constraints. Federal employees are exempt from eligibility. This scholarship provides an amount not greater than $1000 to the recipient based on financial need and merit. Funds may be used to pay for registration, membership, travel, hotel or other expenses related to the Annual Meeting. If interested, please send an email to: leslie.randall@comcast.net |
