The purpose of this seminar is to describe the difference between health teaching and health and wellness coaching and discuss the principles of coaching and its application in healthcare and the medical fitness industry today. The Circle of Life Health and Wellness Coaching System will be demonstrated through interactive exercises. Results from three applications of health and wellness coaching will be described: a breast cancer recovery group, workplace wellness group and a health fitness center.

1. Describe the difference between health teaching and health and wellness coaching. 2. Identify three applications for health and wellness coaching in the healthcare setting. 3. List the objectives of a Member Coach in the Medical Fitness industry.
