Designing and implementing a solid longitudinal health survey is challenging yet rewarding when the study is making progress and the reporting of results becomes appropriate. Although the research questions are designed in the beginning, a significant amount of time often passes before the data is ready to be analyzed and reported for public consumption. It is important to keep the goals of the study in mind throughout the data collection and management as it greatly affects what can be analyzed and reported in the end. An overview of things to consider when approaching data analysis and reporting will be provided.

Learning Objectives:
#1: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to list and discuss the essential elements involved in designing and implementing an intensive longitudinal study that combines clinical and health survey data. #2: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to discuss the challenges and limitations in data collection and management of a longitudinal study that combines clinical and health survey data. #3: Upon completion of this course, the participant will demonstrate an understanding of the processes necessary to develop and implement a survey based longitudinal study.
