This overview will be followed by a lively discussion with heavy audience participation. The discussion will be moderated by Ms. Jackie Judd and will feature Dr. Paula Johnson, Ms. Sandra Shewry, Dr. Carolyn Clancy, Professor Sara Rosenbaum, and Sylvia Drew Ivie. Its focus will be the key social, policy, and political challenges associated with shaping a national Medicaid policy -- both alone and as part of a broader health reform effort-- that is responsive to women's health needs. The discussion will lead into ample time for audience members to ask questions and share observations.
