165508 Performance standards as good policy: The NPHPSP as valuable tools in shaping national, state, and local practice

This presentation will provide a macro overview of the NPHPSP and highlight new Version 2 release; and discuss how they have incorporated language into legislation for state health improvement planning and used the NPHPSP and state-level MAPP activities in response to this legislation.

Learning Objectives:
Discuss the updated components of Version 2. Describe how NPHPSP assessment can lead to state health improvement plans. Identify the opportunities provided by the NPHPSP to drive public health policy at the national, state, and local levels.
