Biographical Sketch: Jeffery C. Camplin is president of Camplin Environmental Services, Inc., a safety and environmental consulting firm he founded in 1991. Jeff is a certified safety professional (CSP) and certified professional environmental, health and safety auditor (CPEA). He has a BS in safety from Northern Illinois University and is currently completing his masters in safety and emergency management from Eastern Kentucky University.
Mr. Camplin is currently revising the chapter he authored on safety management in the American Society of Safety Engineers “Safety Professional’s Handbook”. In the chapter he discusses selling safety and integrating corporate social responsibility into safety management. Jeff is also a member of the editorial review board for Professional Safety Journal. He is currently finishing an article on integrating Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability initiatives in with safety management. Jeff is also the chair of the Body of Knowledge Initiative for the American Society of Safety Engineers which has the ambition of cataloging all competencies in the Safety profession.
