Biographical Sketch: Antonio J. Marín, M.A. Is a research associate in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston Salem, NC. He currently serves as a Field Project Coordinator in an injury project with Latino poultry processing workers isn NC Carolina. Mr. Marín has worked extensively with lay health promoters as a mean of increasing knowledge of environmental and occupational health and worker’s right among immigrant workers with limited literacy. Marín is a native of Venezuela. He has been active as a community organizer with Latinos for the past decade.
