Biographical Sketch: Michael Givel is associate professor of political science at the University of Oklahoma, Norman. Professor Givel’s current research and teaching interests include: public policy, health policy, public administration, urban politics and planning, and social movements. In 2009, Professor Givel became the first U.S. Fulbright to serve in the eastern Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan.
