Biographical Sketch: Steven Kritz, MD has been with the Division of Medical Services, Research and Information Technology of the Addiction Research and Treatment Corporation (ARTC) for over 9 years in the capacities of Research Coordinator and Continuous Quality Improvement Manager. ARTC has 7 opioid agonist therapy clinics in Brooklyn and Manhattan in New York City that also provide primary medical care, including HIV/AIDS care. Prior to working at ARTC, Dr. Kritz had practiced rural Internal Medicine for over 19 years in the Northern Catskill region of upstate New York. He is a 1973 graduate of the City University of New York, Queens College with a BA in chemistry. Dr. Kritz received his MD in 1977 from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Kings County Hospital in 1980.
