Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Savoia is trained in medicine and public health and is a research scientist within the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) Division of Public Health Practice and interim director of the HSPH Center for Public Health Preparedness. Dr. Savoia conducted research at the University of Bologna, Italy and HSPH in the areas of health care services and systems, evidence-based medicine, quality of life and health inequalities. She has authored several publications including two recent articles on public health systems research.
