Biographical Sketch:
D’Yuanna L. Allen, MPH, currently serves as the Adolescent Health Programs Director for the Metro Public Health Department, Nashville/Davidson County. Since 2005, Ms. Allen’s work includes, policy and program evaluation, management of adolescent health related activities and staff, strategic planning, resource development, and information dissemination towards advancing the adolescent health issues of affected Nashville/Davidson County communities. D'Yuanna holds the Master of Public Health degree in Health Planning and Administration from the University of Tennessee, Department of Health and Safety Sciences and is a 2010 HRSA MCHB Maternal and Child Health Public Health Leadership Institute (MCH-PHLI) Fellow at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Allen is also a public health guest lecturer at Tennessee State University, Meharry Medical College and Middle Tennessee State University.
