Biographical Sketch: Kristi Allgood has an MPH in epidemiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health and has been working at the Sinai Urban Health Institute in Chicago since 2004. During the past 5 years, Kristi has led various projects in HIV and medical resident education. However, she found her niche in mammography quality and breast cancer screening as the lead evaluator of the Sinai Navigation project funded by the Avon Foundation. In addition, She along with other members of the Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force co-authored a section on mammography quality in a groundbreaking report which outlined the breast cancer mortality disparity in Chicago and evidence based recommendations proposed to solve the issue. Some of the findings are presented today.
