Biographical Sketch: Jennifer Hatcher-Keller, RN, PhD, is an assistant professor at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. Jenna received her masters as a family nurse practitioner from West Virginia University in 2003 and her PhD from the University of Kentucky in 2006. Her research focus is cancer health disparities and she is the recipient of a career development award from the National Cancer Institute Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities , entitled: Promoting Mammography among African American women visiting the Emergency Department. Jenna is also co-investigator on a number of community based cancer studies involving other vulnerable populations, including Appalachian women and families and African American faith based communities.
