Biographical Sketch:
Dawn Beatrice Griffin is currently a program manager in the National Center for Health Marketing located at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her primary research focuses on the health information seeking behavior of minorities. Dawn’s research has led to presentations at the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting and the National Medical Association’s Annual Scientific Meeting. In addition, Dawn co-leads the management team for the National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing and Media. Dawn received her Bachelor in Science degree from Spelman College, her Master’s of Science in Public Health from Meharry Medical College and her Doctor of Philosophy in Health Education and Health Promotion from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
