Biographical Sketch: José Luis Navarro Espigares: Born in 1962 in Granada (Spain), married with two daughters, PhD in Economics, associated lecturer in the International and Spanish Economics Department at the University of Granada (Spain). He is a member of the Regional Development Institute (University of Granada) and since 2005 holds the position of Treasurer of the European Association of Research on Services (RESER). From 1995 he also works as a financial manager in the University Hospital Virgen de las Nieves. His research activities and publications are focused on service economy, healthcare economy, and efficiency measurement.
