Biographical Sketch: Amy Mullenix is the state coordinator for the North Carolina Preconception Health Campaign. She works with the March of Dimes and the State of North Carolina to direct 7 staff members in health care provider and consumer education around the state. Prior to her work in preconception health promotion, she served as a bilingual social worker for pregnant women and families in public health departments and community health centers in North Carolina.
She received her Master of Science in Public Health in maternal and child health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also holds a Master of Social Work degree from the same university.
