Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Anne Fidler is currently the Assistant Dean for Public Health Practice and Associate Professor of Environmental Health at the Boston University School of Public Health. This follows a 20-year career with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she spent many years as an occupational epidemiologist at NIOSH (the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health). During the latter part of her work at CDC, Dr. Fidler's work involved the development of the public health workforce and the assessment and improvement of local and state public health agencies. She is also an elected member and Chair of the local Board of Health in her community.
