Biographical Sketch:
Darrell J. Gaskin is Associate Professor of Health Economics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Deputy Director of the Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions. He has also served on the faculties of Georgetown University and the University of Maryland. His primary research interests are healthcare disparities, access to healthcare for minority, Medicaid quality, low-income, uninsured, and other vulnerable populations, and safety net hospitals. Dr. Gaskin earned his Ph.D. in health economics at The Johns Hopkins University, a MS degree in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA degree in economics from Brandeis University.
