Biographical Sketch: Jinsook Kim is an Assistant Professor of the Public Health & Health Education Programs at Northern Illinois University. Dr. Kim received her PhD degree in Public Health from UCLA School of Public Health. Her research interest is in socio-environmental influence on health behavior and health outcomes among disadvantaged population. Her current research projects focus on the influence of policy, neighborhood, and school factors on childhood obesity.
