Discussion will focus on the increasing demand to fill leadership positions in public health and non-profit health organizations, with further discussions on succession planning and other strategies to create/develop leaders ready to meet leadership challenges.
Session Objectives: Explore the challenges of defining and identifying emerging leaders in public health and related organizations, with emphasis on non -profits and the public sector.
Increase the understanding of the differences in perceptions of Baby Boomers, GenX and GenY leaders towards work, the workplace, and leadership.
Identify at least three ways participants can help develop others as leaders.
