Oral
Technological and scientific breakthroughs related to health outcomes need to be addressed and incorporated into public health practice, policy and research. In addition, a public health population-based perspective using the core functions and essential services must be applied to emerging issues such as genomics, informatics and disability. These presentations will outline the key themes in the emerging issue area and propose a public health agenda for the next decade for practitioners, policymakers and researchers in public health.
