This discussion led by the Joint Policy Committee Co-Chairs will teach participants how to write a policy for submission into the APHA policy process. Topics discussed will include: an overview of the public policy development process, policy development and review schedule/calendar, guidelines for preparation, submission, review, revision, consideration, adoption of proposed policy and who to contact for more information.
