The Trade & Health Forum of the American Public Health Association invites abstracts for presentation at the 2007 Annual Meeting to be held in Washington, DC, November 3-7, 2007. Please see the topic list, the illustrative list of invited presentations below and the session titles. Topics related to this year’s theme: “Politics, Policy and Public Health” and all areas of the relationship between trade and health will receive high priority. This Call for Abstracts for scientific sessions is a request for papers that focus on a) the relationship between trade policy and health status measures, b) how health advocacy and political efforts influence trade policy and c) an examination of underlying societal level structural factors that influence trade and health. Presentations may be scientific studies, descriptions of or evaluations of advocacy activities or policy analysis. Public health students are encouraged to submit papers for a poster session. Anticipated session topics are listed below.
