The Caucus invites abstracts on research, epidemiology, policy, legislation, advocacy, and service delivery issues pertaining to homelessness and homeless populations. Topics of interest for this year's program include, but are not limited to:
- Design and evaluation of interventions for specific populations (e.g., runaway homeless youth, individuals with mental illness, substance abuse disorders)
- Ending homelessness through state and local planning
- Evidence based policy and practice on homelessness
- International responses to homelessness
- Issues related to the design, implementation, and effectiveness of health services for homeless populations
- Priorities and challenges in conducting research with homeless populations, including consumer involvement
Abstracts with student researchers as senior authors are encouraged. The Caucus on Homelessness will present an award for the best student abstract submitted. The abstract will be selected by a committee. Please place "S/A" at the end of the title so that it will be identified as an abstract to be considered for this award. For additional information contact the program chair.
