Veterinary Public Health

Submit Abstract

Topics considered will include those covering the full spectrum of issues of interest and importance to veterinarians in public health and those interested in zoonoses,food safety,animal human interaction and those sometimes considered as veterinary public health. The program will consist of two 90 minute sessions of 15 - 20 minute papers addressing the following recommended topics:
  • Emerging Infections: perspectives on zoonotic diseases in the near past and on the horizon
  • Public Health Leadership and the Veterinarian - perspectives on opportunities and preparation
  • The Human- Animal Bond: The Benefits Of Companion Animals in Care and other Settings.
