172378 A Promote Strategy for Non-Smoking Campus Movement-An example of National Penghu UniversityMonday, October 27, 2008
The purpose for this paper is to bring up a promote strategy for non-smoking campus movement. The national Penghu University is studied as a sample. There are five strategies suggested in this case. The first is to formulate a reasonable and educational rule that aims to keep a non-smoking campus. The second is to organize executed group and volunteers trained. The third is to input creative idea for anti-smoking teaching materials. The fourth is to make a whole school activeness plan. The last strategy is to hold a demonstration of the results achieved and to share its experience and stories at an event held by Penghu County in order to encourage other schools to participate in the movement. After completed all activeness, the evaluation questionnaire is used. There are 200 questionnaires distributed to students. There are 146 valid questionnaires returned, the valid rate is 72.3%. The results indicate that 54.1% of subjects consider that this project has primary effectiveness. There are 56.2% of the subjects think that this year's effectiveness is better than last year. Finally, the study recommends that the government should give continuing budget and to share experiences with other schools.
