This section of the course identifies key points in communicating research findings to the public. Participants practice these concepts by writing and communicating summary statements for the media, public and other public health stakeholders about either the effectiveness of condoms or the HPV vaccine.

Compose an easy-to-understand, research-based position statement suitable for the media and other public health stakeholders

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have worked as a Local County Health Director and for a Board of Health for over 10 years and am very familiar with the real-world application of integrating research and political realities into public health practice. I am also in my 3rd year of a Ph.D. program in Health Services Research.
