The purpose of this presentation is to use/provide the foundation for how and why age-adjusted rates are calculated and the multiple data sources required. Several hands on exercises will be conducted to produce age-adjusted rates as well as cover several other advanced features within the SEER*Stat software.

Learning Objectives:
Explain the usefulness of age-adjusted rates and how they are computed. Formulate and produce age-adjusted incidene rates.
