With a greater emphasis on the medicalization of HIV case management, we need to develop a responsive plan to further address treatment adherence and the coordination of and follow-up on clients' HIV medical care. In turn, we developed an anonymous web-based survey to gather input from approximately 100 case managers and supervisors about a series of topics – involvement in their clients' HIV medical care, experience with their clients' HIV medical providers and assessment of their clients' health literacy. The survey data will be analyzed and the results will be a series of perceptual maps. The perceptual maps will provide a graphical illustration of the case managers and supervisors' perception of the topics in relation to themselves (i.e. the extent to which they agree or disagree with the topics). The perceptual maps will be used to develop a curriculum for HIV case managers to increase their involvement in clients' medical care with the anticipated outcome of better client health outcomes.

Learning Objectives:
•List HIV case managers and supervisors perceptions of treatment adherence and the coordination of and follow-up on clients’ HIV medical care. •Identify similar public health issues or programs where perceptual mapping may be applicable to develop intervention or messages •Cite a curriculum developed to address treatment adherence and medical care coordination and follow-up among HIV case managers
