I have extensive experience in the surveillance and control of infectious diseases and in surveillance for disability in large populations. I have been an author of many articles on surveillance and outbreak control of infectious diseases, have regularly reviewed articles for JAMA, CID, and other journals, and have regularly been invited to speak at regional and national meetings on antimicrobial resistance.
