Elbra Wedgeworth , Chief Government and Community Relations Officer, Denver Health, Denver, CO
Throughout our 148 year history, Denver Health has remained steadfastly committed to our dual mission of caring for the needs of society's vulnerable populations and caring for the special needs of all populations.

Denver Health meets the special needs of everyone - rich and poor as patients come from throughout the region for treatment in our academic Level I Rocky Mountain Regional Trauma Center, and thousands are cared for, and transported, by our paramedics. Others received counsel from our Rocky Mountain Center, and education through our Rocky Mountain Center for Medical Response to Terrorism, Mass Casualties and Epidemics.

Meeting our mission is a challenge, especially in the face of health care financing. We continue to meet this challenge by adopting innovation in care and information technology along with an outstanding cadre of providers and employees who have an unwavering commitment to our mission, and tremendous pride in what is necessary to advance that mission.

Learning Objectives:
Developing ways to enable your organization to be successful with a quality health care program and to continue to have a commitment to its mission and that it is essential and invaluable.
