Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Since 1996 have taught public health informatics courses including courses at: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, The Uniformed Services Health Science University, The Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Public Health, and The University of Alabama, School of Health Information Sciences.
Since 1984 have directed and taught over 120 information technology related workshops including workshops at: American Public Health Association, Baylor College of Medicine, National Association of Local Boards of Health, American Library Association, the Institute for HIV Prevention Leadership, Fiji School of Medicine, Central Queensland University, University of South Australia, University of Queensland, Wayne State University, Medical College of Georgia, Texas Southern University, Southern Illinois University
Since 1986 have consulted with agencies on information systems including consultations with: the American Association of Dental Schools, the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control, Griffith University, and Botswana Ministry of Health
Since 1984 have presented over 100 conference papers, posters, oral presentations including presentations at conferences of the: American Medical Informatics Association, American Public Health Association, International Medical Informatics Association, World Congress on Computers in Education, National Association of County and City Health Officers, and Public Health Information Network Stakeholders.
