Role of an accrediting agency

This session will describe the processes by which an accrediting organization participates in assuring the quality assurance of professional practice. These include promotion of setting standards of academic quality, requiring periodic review and public disclosure; and, setting internal professional internal agency procedures that adhere to high standards and principles.
