190350 Efforts to establish a unified accreditation process

This session will describe the results of the SOPHE/AAHE multi-year effort to outline the profession-wide efforts to develop a coordinated accreditation system for the health education profession. This session will highlight the lessons learned in the effort from point of view of accredited schools and programs in public health, including the role of CEPH. These include the need for an undergraduate public health accreditation process and articulation agreements between undergraduate and graduate level course work.
