The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has a 200-year history and an established structure to support individual parishes in meeting the needs of the faithful. This presentation will describe some of the ways caregiver stress is addressed in the Parish of St Katherine of Siena by identifying community resources, providing caregiver support and decreasing isolation. Using one couple's journey as a case study, needs are identified, strengths recognized and a plan initiated. A plan that reinforces the belief that wellness is an element of our spiritual journey.

Learning Objectives:
Identify the pathway supporting Philadelphia Parish Nurses by facilitating their work Describe one approach to decreasing caregiver stress Discuss the relationship between lifestyle, faith and well-being using one case study.
