Biographical Sketch: Dr. Marie Tarrant is currently an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Nursing studies at The University of Hong Kong. Prior to moving to Hong Kong she worked in public health with Aboriginal populations in Northern Canada. Her major research interests are breastfeeding and child health. Her research has focused on the culture of breastfeeding in Hong Kong, factors which promote exclusive breastfeeding, and the impact of infant feeding methods on various health outcomes.
