Biographical Sketch: Patricia A. Findley is an Assistant Professor of Social Work. She conducts research on disability and chronic illnesses examining disparities in access and co-occurring physical and mental illnesses. She has a long clinical history in working with those with disabilities in medical rehabilitation settings, and more recently co-authored a book, The Cancer Survivor Handbook: The Essential Guide to Cancer Survivorship, and now includes the exploration of cancer survivorship and its meaning with respect to vocational reentry and health promotion for this newer chronic illness.
