Biographical Sketch: Dr. Josefa Ippolito-Shepherd, a Public Health Scientist and Independent Professional, dedicates her current efforts to strengthening Health Promotion in the work place and especially in academic settings (schools and universities). She was Regional and Sub-Regional (Caribbean) Health Promotion Advisor at PAHO/WHO and Group Leader for the Regional Health-Promoting Schools and Universities Initiatives.
