Biographical Sketch: Lissy Friedman is a Senior Staff Attorney at the Public Health Advocacy Institute at Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, MA. She is a graduate of Suffolk University School of Law. Her area of expertise is analyzing the tobacco industry's internal documents. She has recently completed the second year of a grant provided by the American Legacy Foundation to study the tobacco industry's use of corporate social responsibility rhetoric and tactics to improve its image. Her work is also supported by the National Cancer Institute.
