Biographical Sketch: He established Health Economics Group in 1978 as a Third Party Administrator. Responsibilitie with the company, in addition to general management, include actuarial analysis and dealing with employers in matters of employee benefit design, plan economics, cost containment, and plan operations.
For several years he served as a Research Associate in Community Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center (University of Rochester). Areas of focus were dental care economics, quality management and dental benefits design.
He was a member of the Monroe County (NY) Board of Health for ten years, two years as president.
He holds a B.. in Industrial Engineering and an MBA, both from Stanford University. In addition, he has taken courses in epidemiology at Tufts University.
