Biographical Sketch:
David Mosen, PhD, MPH, is a trained health services researcher and has more than 12 years of experience conducting applied program evaluation research within health delivery systems. Dr. Mosen has an Affiliate Investigator Appointment with KPCHR. David research interests include: 1) evaluation of quality improvement efforts to improve screening efforts and outcomes for persons with chronic disease and 2) examination of provider and health-system characteristics associated with quality of care measures 3) examination of the medical benefits of receiving regular dental care and 4) examination of patient activation with quality of care measures for persons with chronic conditions. Dr. Mosen is also a Senior Program Evaluation Consultant and Director of the Research Response Team. In this role, he performs two functions: 1) serve as a liaison to KPNW doctors and clinicians who want to conduct health services research and quality improvement studies in KPNW and 2) work with KPNW leadership to develop and implement quality improvement and program evaluation studies specific to the NW Region.
