Biographical Sketch:
Jennifer Ibrahim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health at Temple University and the Associate Director of the Public Health Law Research National Program Office. She earned an MPH from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1999 and a PhD in Health Services and Policy Analysis and an MA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002. Prior to joining the faculty at Temple University, she was an American Legacy Foundation postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing her research on the role of the tobacco industry in the development and implementation of tobacco control policy. Currently, Dr. Ibrahim’s area of research interest is in health policy development and implementation, particularly at the state and local level.
