Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Hawkins has more than twenty years of experience as an educator building collaborations between public agencies, health care organizations, community-based organizations and institutes of higher education. She has held adjunct faculty positions overseeing student field experiences with the University of Maryland, University College (UMUC) and Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. She is currently faculty in the School of Community Health and Policy at Morgan State University and has served as a faculty advisor for public health student internships at Morgan since 2003. Dr. Hawkins received her B.S. in Psychology from Georgetown University and a Masters of Human Services Degree from Lincoln University in PA and her Ph.D. in Community Health Education from the University of Maryland, College Park.
