Biographical Sketch: Britt Rios-Ellis, Ph.D, is a Professor in the Department of Health Science at California State University, Long Beach and the co-Director of the National Council of La Raza (NCLR)/CSULB Center for Community Health, Evaluation, and Leadership Training. She is the co-PI on the Hispanic Serving Institution Project at CSULB and serves as the director of several project targeting underserved Latinos concerning health professionals training, HIV/AIDS, maternal/child health, and nutrition. She has worked as a consultant for the Office of Minority Health, the Health Resources Services Administration, NCLR, the Pan American Health Organization, and the Ethiopian Community Development Council. She also serves as the Co-Chair of the National Latino AIDS Action Network (NLAAN).
