Biographical Sketch:
Carolyn A. Mendez-Luck, Ph.D., P.H., is an assistant professor of Community Health Sciences at the UCLA School of Public Health. Dr. Mendez-Luck received her Ph.D. and M.P.H. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Mendez-Luck is currently a pilot investigator with the UCLA Center for Health Improvement for Minority Elders (UCLA CHIME) and is the recipient of an NIH/NIA-funded career development award. Her research interests include community-based participatory research methods, family caregiving of Latino elders and aging-related health disparities in this population.
