Biographical Sketch:
Dr. William Livingood is Clinical Professor with the Jiann Ping Hsu College of Public Health at Georgia Southern University and he is a Senior Research Scientist with the Center for Health Equity & Quality Research in the University of Florida, College of Medicine-Jacksonville and the Duval County Health Department. He was the founding Director of the Institute for Public Health Informatics & Research in the Duval County Health Department. Dr Livingood had been a university professor for over 35 years and has served as an academic department chairperson for over 15 years. He was founding president of the Council of Accredited MPH Programs, former president of SOPHE, former president or chairperson of numerous state organizations, and he received Distinguished Fellow recognition from the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) in 2000.
