Biographical Sketch:
TAMIKA D. GILREATH is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Southern California. She has worked on several projects related to substance use including biomedical studies of smoking patterns and performing secondary data analyses of the correlates of smoking among African American youth and adult samples. Her primary research interests include health disparities and patterns of co-morbidity of substance use, and poor mental health among youth, as well as international tobacco consumption among adolescents in sub-Saharan Africa.
