Biographical Sketch: Lee Hurt is an epidemiologist at the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, in the Center for Maternal and Child Health. She is responsible for coordinating perinatal surveillance systems, and has special interests in child fatalities and childhood obesity. She is currently a DrPH candidate in the environmental and occupational health program at the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services.
